Mr. Edwin G. Edpalina

Mr. Edpalina obtained a B.S. degree in Fisheries from Mindanao State University at Naawan (Naawan, Misamis Oriental, Philippines). He then launched a teaching career as a high school science and music teacher at MSU-Naawan Fisheries High School, at which time, also pursuing a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Music Education at Philippine Normal University, Manila. With a scholarhip grant from Philippine Society of Music Education, he was later admitted into the Master's degree program in Music Education at University of Santo Tomas. To further his career, he took post-graduate studies at Zoltan Kodaly Pedagogical Institute of Music in Kecskemet, Hungary, under a scholarship grant from the International Kodaly Society.

 

Edwin has previously taught at Don Bosco Technical Institute -Makati, PAREF-Southridge School in Alabang, Muntinlupa City (Philippines); Maria International Kindergarten, St. Michael's International School, Osaka  YMCA  International School (Japan), Yew Chung International School (Shanghai, China) and as Head of Visual & Performing Arts Department (K-12) at American International School Hong Kong. At present, he is the Music & Media Coordinator at Makuhari International School in Chiba City, Japan.
